Sculptra is a type of cosmetic injectable treatment. Unlike dermal fillers and BOTOX®, Sculptra contains poly-L lactic acid, which works deep within the skin to stimulate collagen production.
Sculptra can cause bruising, which can take up to two weeks to heal. You may experience mild discomfort and swelling in the injection areas. A cool compress can help alleviate these symptoms.
After your treatment, massage the injection area for five minutes, five times a day for five days. Avoid wearing makeup for 24 hours.
